Smells like ripe cherries, but it has more of a blackberry flavor. Has a smooth flavor with a hint of spice on the medium finish. I have enjoyed the Zinfandel from Cline in the past and this one is an enjoyable wine. However, I think that I’ve developed a much better sense of how much quality I should expect at certain price points and by that measure I’m not thrilled with this one. It’s tasty but I think a bit over-priced for what it is.
