Cheap Wine Guy Seal of Approval
Name: Turnbull
Type: White
Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Origin: U.S. - California
Year: 2004
Producer: Turnbull Wine Cellars
Price: $9.99

The instructor of my wine class claims that this is the best Sauvignon Blanc made in America. I haven't had a ton of them, but this is definitely the best one I've had. It has a distinct apricot fragrance and a flavor that is difficult to describe. It starts with some mild fruit and matures into some spice on the finish. Very, very nice. I'm calling it a Cheap Thrill.
