I was looking for a simple, white wine to pair with Indian food and this was a bottle left over from that endeavor. Indian is a hard food to pair with wine, I’ll tell you that. This wine has some denser fruit aromas that I don’t expect from Sauvignon Blanc along with a noticeable jolt of ammonia. The flavor is simple, I chose wisely in that solitary regard. Starts soft and produces citrus and peach flavors as it moves over the palate. There’s a bit of acidity on the short finish and a chemical flavor that runs through the whole experience. Not a great Sauvignon Blanc.
