Name: Bin 50 Shiraz
Type: Red
Grape: Shiraz
Origin: Australia
Year: 2004
Producer: Lindeman's
Price: $5.49

This Lindeman's is a pretty good deal at $5.49 a bottle. I was surprised by the nose on this wine, it has an assertive aroma of currants and anise. You can't have the world at this price, but I think the aroma is writing checks the flavor can't cash. There are some fruit flavors initially and the finish is medium-long with some nice tannins. They just don't live up to the promise of the aroma. If you can acquire this wine at this price, give or take a dollar, I'd recommend it.
