Name: Duke
Type: Red
Grape: Shiraz
Origin: U.S. - California
Year: 2003
Producer: Duke, Lone Negociant
Price: $10.99

Deep purple color, smells of some kind of wood and some black pepper. The flavor has fruit on the front and then a wild kick of spice on the finish. The label seems to be positioning the wine as some sort of wine for cowboys. This is a concept I don't really understand but it's all marketing hype anyway I suppose. Just the same, it's a damn fine ten buck Shiraz.
