The bottle, which has a nice screwcap, describes the wine as having "tropical and gooseberry aromas." I don't detect anything that I can pinpoint as tropical but it does have a familiar aroma that I've smelled quite a bit in other wines but couldn't put my finger on what it is. If it's gooseberry, that would explain a lot. The flavor is a bit sweet but mostly zesty. It's a lively white wine that would be good with light, summertime meals.
