Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Origin: U.S. - California

Has a light straw color and an aroma that is a little odd. It's a heavier aroma of apricots. I expect cleaner, crisper aromas from Sauvignon Blanc, but it isn't a bad smell. The taste reflects that, it starts with a flavor that is sweet but then gets a very tangy bite as it rolls over your tongue. That bite turns into the short finish and leaves a soapy aftertaste. This wine doesn't show many varietal characteristics and the characteristics it does show aren't that appealing. If this is the "reserve" I'd hate to taste the regular stuff.
