So I looked on the site the other day and realized that my red wine reviews FAR outnumber my white wine reviews. And though I do favor red wine generally, I do love certain white wines. So in an effort to make it a little more even I went out and bought a case of various white wines the other day. The first of these is a Sauvignon Blanc from California. It smells like a Sauvignon Blanc ought to, clean and refreshing with some citrus notes. The flavor is mild with an acidic kick at the end. I detect I bit of melon and it's definitely a little tart. Not a bad wine at this price point.
