Nice nose, smells like spice and a ripe MacIntosh apple. The kind you'd shine up and give to your teacher. Tastes a little thin on the front but that's followed by a fair bit of spice and some soft tannins. All this leads up to quite a lengthy finish. This is another winner from The Wine Society in Nashua, NH, which I consider the finest wine store around. Not a big selection but you can't walk out of there with a bad bottle of wine.
