This is some fairly crappy Cabernet. I had some Vendange Pinot Noir a couple years ago and it was not too bad so I picked up some Cabernet from the same label. Making a cheap Pinot Noir isn’t easy, you usually can’t get a decent one without paying upwards of $25 a bottle. I figured if they could make a serviceable Pinot then the Cabernet should be a snap. Nope. Dull aroma that smells predominantly like rubbing alcohol, direct and kinda lousy flavor with a lot of tannins on the finish. It’s one of those wines you drink in big gulps and hold it in your mouth for a second because you don’t really want to swallow it. It’s not as bad as that mule piss they sell for $5-per-tiny-bottle on an airplane, I’d score that stuff a zero, but it ain’t good
