Another in the Banrock Station bunch that I bought, the Cabernet is what I’d call serviceable. It’s quite dark in color and has a muted, earthy aroma. It smells a bit like new leather and raisins. The flavor is initially smooth, almost thin, but then the finish is more tart and tannic. It is neither bad nor outstanding in any way, so it gets an even score of 5.
