Deep color and an aroma of paint. This is a blend of Shiraz and Tempranillo in an even split. The flavor is quite smooth throughout, with a berry flavor and a bit of spice and tannins on the finish. Overall, it isn't bad at all. I don't think I've ever had an exceptional Tempranillo of any sort, but I do appreciate Shiraz and I can detect a nice similarity to that varietal in this wine.
