This is an interesting looking bottle from one of my favorite new-ish wine regions, South Africa. The color is a deep plum color and the aroma is sweet, almost like cotton candy or those circus peanut candies. The flavor is much more characteristically Shiraz than the aroma. It has a bit of a heavy mouth feel and dark fruit flavors followed by a mild kick of tannins and a reasonably long finish. Very nice.
