The synthetic cork and soft fruity scents of this non-vintage red table wine indicated to me that this would be an “ok” tasting wine. When I’m wrong, I’ll admit it and that assessment was a serious blunder. I’ve never tasted a wine quite like this, it is a unique experience. It has a slightly sweet and decidedly strawberry flavor with a hint of smoke that turns into a burst of acidity before the medium finish. That description doesn’t do it justice though. I was apprehensive about a wine called “Love my Goat” for obvious reasons, but this is a definite keeper. I highly recommend it.
