Deep color and smells like raisins. The flavor is very dry, tacky dry I'd say. There is a tiny bit of spice on the medium finish. It's a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan and Syrah from France that is supposed to "capture the essence of Southern France." I've never been, but I hope this isn't the essence of Southern France.
