This red is 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. I have liked Koonunga Hill wines in the past, they are one of the cheaper Penfolds brands and they have a quality taste to them. This one is no exception, it has a deep color and a rich cherry scent. It has a nice flavor too, berries and some spice before the finish, which is medium length. If you’re looking for something under $10 to take to a dinner party, this is a winner. It has a nice looking bottle and the brand is one that everyone is familiar with and recognizes as being typically tasty.
