Deep color, aroma is a bit sour but the dominant smells are blackberry and chocolate. The flavor isn’t nearly as bold as the tannins that pick up near the end and culminate on the finish. The tannins are relatively strong so if you really dislike them you may want to steer clear of this one. It’s a decent wine, but I’m not that impressed given the price. If it were half this price I’d call it a value.
