Nice dark red color with a ring of clear that indicates an adolescent wine. It has a sharp, oaky aroma that hits you right off the bat. It has a decent berry flavor with some pretty spicy notes. The wine is decent overall but tinged by an off-flavor that I can't describe. For $4 it's fine though; I had some with a nice dry-aged steak on the grill and it was pretty good.
