Deep color and nice aroma of ripe cherries. Starts off with a soft fruity flavor and then breaks into a tangy acidity with some mild tannins as it matures on the palate. It almost leaves a lemonade-style thickness in the back of your throat. Or maybe that’s because I’ve been feeling under the weather lately, hard to say. It’s pretty good for a wine in general, but only fair for one I bought at the Wine Society in Nashua, NH. Their stuff is spoiling me.
