The aroma is that of a bold and quality wine in my opinion. The smell is deep and powerful with scents of currant and oak. The flavor is also of currant and it is what I call a “juicy” wine. The flavors are pretty lush. There is a bit of spice on the medium finish that hits you right in the jowls. Not bad, not bad at all.
