The nose is a little floral and also smells a bit like light beer. The flavor is predominantly of pears and it is very smooth. A gentle introduction to Chardonnay, should anyone need such a thing. This is the third wine from this maker I've tasted, and the standout so far is the Shiraz by a landslide. The others are good while the Shiraz is great.
