You WANT this wine! Name: Pepperwood Grove Cabernet Sauvignon
Type: Red
Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon
Origin: U.S. - California
Year: 2005
Producer: Don Sebastiani & Sons
Price: $5.48

A reader recommended this wine so I bought it in 3 different varieties. This is the first of the bunch. The bottles were $6.98 a piece but you get a $4.50 mail-in rebate with the purchase of 3 bottles so it comes out to only $5.48 a bottle. It's ruby-colored with a meaty, oaky aroma. Nice fruit at first and then it matures on the palate with some subtle tannins and spice near the end. It's a very smooth, easy drinking wine and at this price it's a particular bargain. Recommended.
